Jennifer Halton

Jennifer has award-winning expertise in building strategic and commercial partnerships for growth and innovation across higher education, not-for-profit, government, SME & corporate sectors. After three years working within the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Division at Imperial College London, Jennifer recently relocated to Western Australia, joining the Centre for Entrepreneurial Research and Innovation in Perth as Chief Impact Officer.

In London, she headed up growth and partnerships for Scale Space, a new Innovation hub backed by Imperial College in West London Innovation District. In addition to unlocking commercial opportunities, she built expert network assets with world-leading venture builders and academics to help scale-ups connect, innovate and grow within and beyond the UK SME ecosystem.

Prior to joining Scale Space, Jennifer led research and commercial projects in the UK, Ireland and Australia with global brands, including Facebook, AstraZeneca, ARUP, Matheson, Vodafone and BT. She holds an Irish Research Council funded PhD in early modern studies and has published and lectured globally in her research field. She was awarded the Irish Research Council New Foundations Award for interdisciplinary collaboration as the Founding Director of the Metamorphosis Project (2016) - a cross-sectoral collaboration initiative between Industry, academic and the creative arts in Ireland.
