Hassan Azmat is the Co-Founder of Candid Intelligence, an AI-native engineering firm focused on power generation and energy infrastructure. Candid combines AI software with mechanical and electrical engineering to help engineering teams design and deliver complex infrastructure faster.
The company has raised $6.5M from investors including Quiet Capital, Schneider Electric, Yann
LeCun, and other AI and industrial investors.
Before Candid, Hassan worked as a mechanical engineer in power generation before moving into
computer science and machine learning. He later worked in the autonomous vehicle industry,
combining his engineering background with software and AI. He holds two master�s degrees from
Carnegie Mellon and a bachelor�s degree in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers.
