About the event

Get a firsthand look at the latest inventions, exciting products, and new technologies that are on the cusp of revolutionising industries from across Western Australia.

The Innovation Showcase is an exciting opportunity for Western Australian startups to promote their business to prospective clients, customers and investors whilst also connecting with fellow entrepreneurs.

This free event will be accessible to West Tech Main delegates all day and to the public from 9:00am – 11:45am. All public registrations for this event are now closed. Peruse our exciting Startup Alley or bring your kids or students to participate in our new Youth Program.

WEST TECH YOUTH

This year, as well as being a fertile meeting ground for startup founders and investors, the Innovation Showcase will nurture the aspirations of young entrepreneurs through its newly developed Youth program delivered alongside the Young Entrepreneurs Showcase which launched at West Tech Fest 2022.

Created for high school students with an interest in entrepreneurship or running their own business, the Youth Program will feature a series of workshops and activities lead by BOP Industries and Purposeful designed to help them with their entrepreneurial pursuits.

As well as workshops and activities, attendees can visit the annual Young Entrepreneurs Showcase (YES) providing 50 high school students from Western Australia the opportunity to promote and pitch their startups created in school.

In this workshop we will explore the business models and brands associated with your favourite influencers. From there, we’ll be developing your own social media brand.

All Innovation Showcase attendees are invited to join delegates of West Tech Main for morning tea in the middle of the Innovation Showcase to connect with one another amongst our vast and exciting innovative companies.

This session will look at how you can build engaging pitches for your ideas, businesses and projects. We’ll be looking at strategies to help your pitch stand out from the crowd!

WORKSHOP 2 – MAKING A DIFFERENCE THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP

In this session, we’ll chat with four amazing young entrepreneurs who are creating meaningful social change through their businesses, from tech startups, to e-commerce businesses, and not for profits.

In this session, we’ll chat with young entrepreneurs who are leveraging new technologies to disrupt a range of different industries, and how technology has made it easier than ever before to start a business.

Are tickets available to this event?

Unfortunately, public registrations for this event are now at capacity and no more tickets will be released.

Who can attend the Innovation Showcase?

Members of the public are invited to join us for free to explore the Innovation Showcase and participate in the Youth program taking place from 9:00am to 12:00pm alongside the Young Entrepreneurs Showcase. Registration is essential and no walk-ins will be allowed.
